The Nosey Neighbor

Neighborhood advice - Dealing with a nosey neighbor
At some point or another you will probably have to deal with that nosey neighbor who just can’t seem to mind their own business. We all appreciate a friend, but this person thrives on knowing your business and invading your privacy. There are multiple ways to deal with such a character—some better than others—but in this case we suggest that honesty is always the best policy. Without being rude or
confrontational, just express your desire for a little more privacy or establish some boundaries. If they are a good neighbor, they will respect you and your privacy. If not, you will likely not hear from them again and either way your problem is solved.

Block parties are a fun excuse to get everyone together and create friendships among neighbors. You might invite one or two families to help you spearhead the event or solicit the help of each neighbor to put on a great party. You will make friends, foster a sense of community, and get a great party out of it!
